NAU 1e Jaarring
NAU is a celebration for eternity. This year, we mark the first orbit. How will we dance and sing our way into the distant future? Celebrations are time capsules for culture and customs, journeying through the past and into the future. Could they perhaps be among the most enduring things there are?
Conversation halts. Voices cease. Strikes break. The right to protest is curtailed. What else can we do but dance? For centuries, communities have formed around beats and pulses. We need celebrations. Can we flirt with the moss, get cozy with saplings? A budding festivity tradition sprouts like marram grass, sending regards to the centuries to follow. This isn’t the end, but from here, you can see it. Let’s dance. And let’s dance in a way that even the forest rangers can appreciate.
